Report Hate Speech

Wikipedia defines hate speech as follows:

Hate speech is speech perceived to disparage a person or group of people based on their social or ethnic group such as race, gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion or lack thereof, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, language ability, ideology, social class, occupation, appearance (height, weight, skin color, etc.), mental capacity, and any other distinction that might be considered by some as a liability.

When it comes to obtaining a birth certificate, being an adoptee is definitely a liability.

Public shaming of adoptees has become socially acceptable. The practice of sealed birth certificates sanctions an atmosphere of reproach and belittlement.  One can find condescending and discrediting comments on practically any news article related to adoption.
